When Gabriella Edwards opened her first Lashes By Gab location, she did so with the intention of spreading a message of self-love and self-care. Now, she’s spreading that message even further with her second location in The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley. The new Lashes By Gab in Center Valley at 2880 Center Valley Parkway in Suite 603 will open in early 2022. Like her Allentown salon, Lashes By Gab – Center Valley will offer eyelash extensions, eyelash lifts, and esthetician certification training in addition to selling lash artist supplies, strip lashes, lash extension aftercare products, eyelash growth serum, and fashion items like hoodies, shirts, and hats. But the mission of Lashes By Gab isn’t just to make women look beautiful, but feel beautiful too.

“The importance of self-care and having every woman feel valuable is something I have my brand represent,” Edwards told What Now Philadelphia. “Mental health is important. I’ve had clients tell me they feel most relaxed, loved, and safest when they come see me and my staff. Creating a safe haven for my clients to come and get pampered is essential and a getaway for my clients.”

Edwards says great lashes can be more essential than ever when it comes to the external side of self-care.

“Someone’s eyes are the first thing people see especially if you are wearing a mask,” says Edwards. “Whether you are getting eyelash extensions, a natural eyelash enhancing service, or rocking strip lashes, it makes us women feel confident and ready to rock the world.”

The concept of self-love will permeate every aspect of what is done at Lashes By Gab. It will literally be plastered on the walls thanks to local company A True Love Story LLC, who will paint a motivational mural on the salon’s walls.

Edwards started doing lashes in 2017 at Gabriella’s Salon in Allentown, which is her mother Miriam Frey’s salon. Edwards worked in her mother’s salon throughout high school and, after graduation in 2016, attended the Metro Beauty Academy to get her estheticians license. In 2019, Gabriella’s Salon was expanded to create a space for Lashes By Gab’s first location at 1331 Roth Ave. In addition to providing lash services, Edwards is also a certified educator that teaches licensed beauty professionals how to do eyelash extensions.

Edwards says she will be opening up additional Pennsylvania locations and has plans to spread her message even further with future locations throughout the East Coast. Learn more about Lashes By Gab at www.lashesbygab.com.
