Beginning with its flagship location which opened last month in Red Bank, NJ, Basile already has plans to sling his signature pies from coast to coast.

Last month, renowned pizza expert and connoisseur Sal Basile opened the flagship location of his new concept, Sally Boy’s, at 1 Broad Street in Red Bank, NJ, while simultaneously announcing plans to open five more locations from Atlantic City and Asbury Park, down to Dallas, up to Los Angeles, and back over in Miami.

As of press time, however, no opening dates have been set, nor addresses revealed, for the future outposts, including those in Atlantic City and Asbury Park.

In no uncertain terms, Sally Boy’s will allow this already accomplished pizza maker the opportunity to shine, given that each location will be equipped with a state-of-the-art Ferrari-red Castelli pizza oven hand-made and shipped directly from Italy. 

Those pizza ovens will be responsible for producing what a spokesperson for the company told What Now Philadelphia would be the “Hallmark” of the restaurant, the Sally Boy’s Slice – “Sal has redefined the classic NY pizza slice,” says the spokesperson, “it’s not a typical sliver of a pie, but a foldable, round piece of pizza.”

In addition to the Sally Boy’s Slice, the establishment will also offer gourmet coffees and fresh Italian pastries baked in-house, as well as Italian dish specialties that draw upon the freshest, highest-quality ingredients.

And despite the fact that there are already six Sally Boy’s locations in the works – counting that which just opened in Red Bank – for those who don’t live nearby, the upcoming launch of the Sally Boy’s Marketplace will allow folks all over the country to enjoy Basile’s product.

Billing itself as “more than a pizza joint…an experience,” Sally Boy’s promises that “if you’re craving the most delicious pizza your mouth has ever experienced, we’ve got that covered,” but, the company adds, “wait until you experience what else Sally Boy’s has to offer.”
